Broadband in Flintshire

The weak spots are small but real. About 1.9% of postcodes still record speeds below 10 Mbps, roughly one in fifty. Taken together, the data describes a county where a fast connection is the default. Most addresses can choose between superfast and gigabit tiers, and the deciding factor for the typical household will be monthly cost rather than availability.

When availability is this broad, the sensible question shifts from can I get fast broadband to how much speed is worth paying for. A household with several simultaneous streamers or a home worker moving big files will feel the benefit of a gigabit tier. Lighter users at the same address could halve their bill on a superfast deal and notice no difference. The 1.9% of slow postcodes are the exception worth ruling out before exchange of contracts.
