For a household that mainly streams and browses, the 92.6% superfast figure is the one that matters. For anyone after the fastest line available, the 77.5% gigabit figure suggests better odds than the superfast number alone would imply. The practical read for movers is straightforward. Most addresses will have both a superfast and a gigabit-capable option, a minority will have only superfast, and a 3.1% slice will struggle for a usable connection at all. Renters and buyers should weight that last group seriously. A below-10Mbps address limits day-to-day life far more than the difference between superfast and gigabit ever will.
