That is a small share, but it still adds up across an area this size. Averages flatter some addresses here and shortchange others.

For a household weighing up a move, the sensible habit is to compare outward codes rather than trust the borough figure. Most postcodes have a gigabit route, and the below-10Mbps tail is small at 2.3%. Fibre purists face a harder search. With the area-wide share at 1.4%, a full fibre line is the exception rather than the default, and M22 is the only listed code where it covers everything.
