The data covers three outward codes, KW15, KW16 and KW17, holding 725 postcodes between them, and it does not identify which parts of the islands make up the gigabit fifth. For a household moving here, the sensible assumption is a superfast connection where coverage allows, with gigabit service the exception rather than the rule.

The spread of speeds shapes what households can plan for. Most addresses clear the superfast bar, which handles streaming and everyday remote work. The 6.8% below 10 Mbps have a harder time; at those speeds video calls degrade and large files crawl. With gigabit reaching just 20.8%, top-tier packages are not part of the conversation for around four premises in five.
